Barbara Reinhardt von BioEpiderm zeigt anhand einer Studie, dass das hautverträgliche und natürliche Edelmetall Silber in Form des Mikrosilbers Micro Silver BG in Pflegeprodukten entzündungshemmend, keimtötend und antimikrobiell wirkt.
Mehr und mehr Menschen leiden unter Hautproblemen, von unerklärlichem Juckreiz über Rötungen bis hin zu atopischen Erkrankungen wie Neurodermitis. Laut Expertenangaben sind mehr als 10 Prozent aller Kinder und Jugendlichen von einer Form der Neurodermitis betroffen. Oft bleibt die Ursache ungeklärt, allerdings spielen äußere Einflüsse eine große Rolle. Allergene wie Haus- staub, Keime und Mikroorganismen können den Zustand immer wieder verschlimmern.

Das reine metallische Silberpulver wird ohne den Zusatz jeglicher Chemikalien hergestellt, wirkt entzündungshemmend und antimikrobiell. Ein Pflegeprodukt mit diesem Wirkstoff setzt über mehrere Stunden hinweg Silberionen frei. Diese Depotwirkung vernichtet kontinuierlich von außen eindringende pathogene Mikroben, ohne die Hautflora anzugreifen. Die Haut wird dauerhaft von Krankheitserregern befreit und kann sich schneller regenerieren. Das Resultat ist ein stabiles, gesundes und geschütztes Hautbild. Produkte mit diesem Wirkstoff können zur täglichen Pflege verwendet werden, um die Haut gesund zu erhalten. Aufgrund seiner hohen Verträglichkeit und seiner entzündungshemmenden Wirkung unterstützt dieser Wirkstoff dauerhaft die Regeneration eines irritierten und gereizten Hautbilds. Der Wirkstoff lässt sich in den unterschiedlichsten Produkten einsetzen. In einer Studie wurde an Atopikern eine Creme mit 0,1% dieses Wirkstoffs getestet, die hinsichtlich ihrer antimikrobiellen und hautregulierenden Wirkung sehr gut abschnitt. Das Hautbild wurde normalisiert, Rötungen verschwanden und lästiger Juckreiz wurde deutlich gelindert. Das feine, leicht zu verarbeitende Silberpulver lässt sich in Cremes, Lotionen und Sprays für Körperpflege, Hand- und Fußpflege, Gesichtspflege, aber auch in Shampoos, Kopfhautpflege bis hin zur Mundhygiene einsetzen. Da es keinerlei Nebenwirkungen hat, kann es auch in Kinderpflegepräparaten verwendet werden. Darüber hinaus lässt sich der Wirkstoff gut mit anderen heilungsfördernden Wirkstoffen wie zum Beispiel Panthenol kombinieren. Im Vergleich zu anderen Silberverbindungen lässt der Wirkstoff den pH-Wert der Haut unbeeinflusst. Er formt einen unsichtbaren silbernen Schutzschild auf der Haut, reguliert den Bakterienhaushalt und stabilisiert die Hautflora. Natürlicher Inhaltsstoff Das feine Silberpulver ist ein nach Ecocert registrierter Rohstoff und entspricht dessen ökologischen Standards für Natur- und Biokosmetik. Das 99,9%ig reine metallische Silber wird aus der Natur gewonnen und in einem patentierten Herstellungsverfahren rein physikalisch pulverisiert. Der Wirkstoff ist frei von chemischen und tierischen Zusätzen. Der Herstellungsprozess produziert keinerlei chemische Abfallprodukte. Es werden auch keine Tierversuche mit dem Rohstoff für kosmetische Zwecke durchgeführt.
